Through participation in the admissions review process, applicants acknowledge and request that all school data in support of their application/nomination to the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts be at the disposal of ASMSA officials. Applicants, as well as their parents or guardians, understsand and agree that ASMSA shall keep all comments made by teachers or counselors in furtherance of the application confidential and waive the rights the student and legal guardians might have to review such comments under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

In addition to completing ALL applicable fields on the online application, applicants need to ensure completion of the following steps by deadlines shown on the ASMSA website:

Instructions for THE Applicant

The student and parent portions of the Online Application include biographic data, extracurricular activities, test scores, essay questions, parent reflections and other information that will help the admissions review team reflect on your past experiences as well as future potential.  Please complete the application using the link in the menu at the right side of the page.  You are able to save progress on the application and return again at a later time for completion and submission.

You must also forward a copy of your ACT or SAT score report to admissions@asmsa.org. You do not need to request an official report from ACT.  A scanned or faxed copy of your student score report will suffice. Simply download your score report and email to our admissions@asmsa.org address.
