Through participation in the admissions review process, applicants acknowledge and request that all school data in support of their application/nomination to the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts be at the disposal of ASMSA officials. Applicants, as well as their parents or guardians, understsand and agree that ASMSA shall keep all comments made by teachers or counselors in furtherance of the application confidential and waive the rights the student and legal guardians might have to review such comments under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
In addition to completing ALL applicable fields on the online application, applicants need to ensure completion of the following steps by deadlines shown on the ASMSA website:

ASMSA's application process requires a total of three recommendations from teachers who have had the student in class during either the ninth or tenth grade year.

Instructions for Counselors or PrincipalsThe student who has provided you a link to this website is applying for admission to the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts. ASMSA's application process requires an official transcript. An electronic copy of the transcript may be submitted to email@example.com but an official copy must be sent by mail.
Mail a copy of the student's official transcript to the following address: ASMSA Admissions, 200 Whittington Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
Be sure that it includes a cumulative report of the student's ninth grade year (final grades for each semester) as well as a mid-year report for their first semester of the tenth grade.
Counselors or principals are also asked to complete the School Discipline and Attendance Form.
